Enrolment Expectations
The aim for all students at ÆßÃõ¼º½ (ÆßÃõ¼º½) is to have a positive and successful learning experience in online education. To support this aim it is important that all students and parents/caregivers understand the expectations of enrolment at ÆßÃõ¼º½.
Communication / Contact
- Access to a phone, computer and the Internet is required.
- Ensure the college has up to date contact details (phone, email, address).
- Emails should be checked daily as this is an important mode of communication.
- Respond promptly to communication from the College.
Attendance and Learning
- All Year 1-10 student to complete the Induction program, including literacy and numeracy screening on enrolment into ÆßÃõ¼º½.
- Attend regularly and participate positively in lessons.
- During synchronous and asynchronous learning time supervisors should ensure students’ personal devices, other than those required for the learning, are turned off and in a different room, out of reach of the student.
- During an incursion or excursion students are expected to keep their mobile devices switched off or on silent and store them in their school bags.
- Inform the College of any absence prior to the lesson (ring the College on 8309 3500 Option 1 or email Student.Absence986@schools.sa.edu.au prior to the lesson with an explanation of the absence).
- Provide the teacher with an explanation for any absence prior to the lesson.
- Provided a medical certificate for absences of 5 consecutive days or more.
Return of Materials
- Promptly return all returnable materials at the end of the unit/subject.
Students will be expected to agree to these expectations on enrolment, and will have their enrolment reviewed if the expectations are not met.
